As debate is set to continue over the Racial and Religious Hatred Bill, Christians are making their voices heard both for and against the legislation.

CARE welcomed last week's extensive debate on euthanasia in the House of Lords, saying it has highlighted the clear dangers of voluntary euthanasia and assisted dying. The Assisted Dying Bill is the latest attempt by crossbencher Lord Joffe to legalise euthanasia or assisted suicide.

A new children’s charity aimed at serving poor children in some of the world’s most deprived areas was recently launched with an Indian-themed gala evening at the Coronet Cinema in Notting Hill, west London. The Rachael’s Children’s Trust will take on its first project in India.
